The Comebacks

Synopsis: A comedy that spoofs the inspirational sports movies, The Comebacks tells the story of an out-of-luck coach, Lambeau Fields (Koechner), who takes a rag-tag bunch of college misfits and drives them towards the football championships. In the process, this life-long loser discovers that he is a winner after all by redeeming himself, saving his relationship with his family and friends, and finding that there is indeed, no “I” in “team”!

The Nines

Synopsis: Consists of three short films. In “The Prisoner,” a troubled television star finds himself under house arrest, with his chipper publicist and disillusioned next-door neighbor providing his only links to the outside world. Mysterious events lead him to question whether one or both women are deceiving him about the nature of his incarceration. “Reality Televisionâ is a 30-minute episode of “Behind the Screen,â a Project Greenlight-style documentary series tracking the process of creating a network television drama. Having shot the pilot, creator/showrunner Gavin Taylor faces post-production with the help of his best friend (and lead actress) Melissa McCarthy and development VP Susan Howard. âKnowingâ finds an acclaimed videogame designer and his wife facing car trouble deep in the woods. Their daughter uncovers information which leads to a difficult and irrevocable choice.

Rocket Science

Synopsis: Life is not easy for teenager Hal Hefner of suburban Plainsboro, New Jersey. His parents have abruptly split; his older brother, Earl, is a budding obsessive-compulsive who pushes him around; and he has an unpredictable stutter that makes high school an exercise in embarrassment, self-effacement and terrible lunches. Given that his active mind and quick wit tend to be obscured by his problematic voice, Hal is not an obvious candidate for his school’s high-powered debate team. So it comes as a complete, though not unwelcome, surprise when the team’s star member, the hyper-articulate Ginny Ryerson, approaches Hal on the school bus one afternoon.

The Invasion

As the infection spreads, more and more people are altered and it becomes impossible to know who can be trusted. Now Carol’s only hope is to stay awake long enough to find her young son, who may hold the key to stopping the devastating invasion.

Drumline

Daddy Day Camp

Up against threats of foreclosure and declining enrollment, Charlie is forced to call on his estranged father, Col Buck Hinton, to help bring the camp together and teach everyone about teamwork, perseverance and the power of forgiveness.

Bordertown

Synopsis: Lauren Fredricks is an ambitious newspaper reporter, who has been sent to Juarez by her editor to investigate what has happened to these hundreds of women and how the local police and authorities have been covering up the brutal rapes and murders. Lauren looks up her former colleague (and lover) Alfonso Diaz, who now runs the local paper, and they soon uncover one of the hottest stories of the year when they come across the only known survivor of one of these mysterious attacks. The victim is reluctant to speak, but Lauren convinces her to break the silence; yet the real danger is not the murder, but the larger forces who don’t want the story told.

Moving McAllister

Synopsis: Rick Robinson is a lowly intern at a prestigious Miami law firm who dreams of becoming a partner one day. Just five days before the bar exam, Rick finds himself in charge of moving McAllisterâs dearest possession across the country: his seductive, yet untouchable niece Michelle. In a less than stellar moving van, the mismatched pair begins their cross-country journey. Along the way they encounter numerous obstacles and unforgettable characters, like free-spirited hitchhiker Orlick Prescott Hope, who all contribute to slowing down the journey much to Rickâs dismay. However, through the experience, Rick begins to see that thereâs more to life than becoming a successful lawyer.
