New Teaser Poster for Sex and the City 2

Christmas comes a little early this year for Sex and the City fans. Love it or hate it, here is the teaser poster for Sex and the City 2. Based on set shots from Sex and the City 2, the movie’s characters will flash back to the 1980s during the sequel. However, based on this teaser poster for the film, Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) is looking futuristic.

If fans are paying attention, they will notice that the poster highlights fashion. In the shot, Parker is wearing a white Halston Heritage dress, $525 gold Mykita & Bernard Willhelm’s Franz Limited-Edition Aviator sunglasses and Solange Azagury-Partridge necklace. Of course, Parker’s transformation into Carrie Bradshaw wouldn’t be complete without a pair of fabulous shoes and a designer handbag – this time a $945 pair of Christian Louboutin Pigalle gold sequinned heels and a gold Chanel clutch. What the poster lacks are Parker’s co-stars Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.

With Dubai having said no to SATC 2’s filming request this summer, a quick look at the pyramids reflected in Carrie’s sunglasses suggest a trip to Egypt could be on the cards instead.

Sex and the City 2 opens nationwide in May 2010.
