Russell Brand Talks About Being A Pirate

Access Hollywood asked Russell Brand about last year’s rumor that he will have a role in Pirates of the Caribbean 4.

His response:
“There’s been some talk of doing a ‘Pirates’ movie,” Russell told Billy Bush for Access Hollywood and “The Billy Bush Show.” “But, I’ve got eight other things to do [including] ‘Get Him To The Greek’ with Judd Apatow… So I don’t know if there’ll be time to be a pirate, I’ve got enough of that in me private life.”

While nothing is confirmed, Brand indicated there is every possibility something may happen after he reprises his “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” character Aldous Snow, in “Get Him To The Greek.”

“A possibility, yes,” he said. “I think it’s a possibility.”

For now though, the star is engaged in a busy week of promotion for his autobiography, “My Booky Wook,” which is being released in on Tuesday.

The last news we heard about the fourth “Pirates” film was in November 2008, when producer Jerry Bruckheimer said they were targeting a 2012 release.
