Spy Photos: The Fast and the Furious 4

A cast member from the upcoming The Fast and The Furious 4 movie took part in filming over the weekend and, at great personal risk, snapped some awesome stealth pictures. They seem to be filming a nightclub scene, and these were some of the cars lined up in the parking lot.

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, the stars from The Fast and the Furious, but who both opted not to be in 2 Fast 2 Furious and Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo Drift, are both returning for the fourth installment of the series. The Fast and the Furious made Diesel and Walker stars. Chris Morgan penned the screenplay and Justin Lin is directing.

The setting this time around is Mexico, where Dom (Diesel’s character from the original) is still racing for the bad guys, and where Brian (Walker’s character, from the original and the first sequel) tracks him down. The entire scenario seems to be a reworking of the original plot, with the racers providing cover for the bad guy’s illegal activities, and undercover cop Brian trying to figure it out, etc. One expects a lot of cool cars, racing, and hot girls to get involved, as is the raison d’etre of the franchise.
